DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nAfter her husband died of Alzheimer's in 2011\, Rosalys
  Peel put her skills as an educator to the test and eventually decided to 
 write the book Mike &amp\; Me about the journey she and Mike took through
  his illness. In subsequent years\, Rosalys has been sharing the book\, le
 cturing about her experience\, and helping other families who are coping w
 ith dementia.\n\nWe're going to talk about what that journey after publis
 hing the book has been like. Now self-employed\, juggling schedules\, adju
 sting to a changed life without Mike\, and more. We'll discuss new insight
 s Rosalys has gained about Alzheimer's\, what she's learned about herself\
 , and about life.\n\nRosalys Peel was born and raised in Nevada\, has been
  a respected voice in the childbirth education movement for over 40 years.
  She is a Registered Nurse\, graduate of the University of Washington\, an
 d certificated by Lamaze International and the Relationship Research Insti
 tute. She taught parent education classes at Swedish Medical Center in Sea
