 charitable giving\, designed to provide individuals with basic knowledge a
 nd tools to design their legacy and make a positive impact in their commun
 ity. This workshop will cover essential concepts such as wills\, living tr
 usts\, beneficiary designations\, and gift/estate tax planning\, providing
  attendees with a comprehensive understanding of how to protect and distri

  will learn about the benefits of charitable planning and various tax tech
 niques to maximize their charitable deductions while supporting their comm

 0\n\nPresenter: Dorothy K. Foster is owner of the Bainbridge Island and Se
 attle law firm of Foster Law Group\, PLLC\, where she practices in the are
 as of estate planning and nonprofit tax-exempt organizations\, with emphas
 es in international estate planning and charitable organizations. She hold
 s masters? degrees in English\, from Washington State University\, and in 
 Linguistics\, from the University of Colorado. She graduated with distinct
 ion from the University of Nebraska School of Law where she was a Regents 
 Law Scholar\, a member of the Order of the Coif\, and Research Editor of t
 he Nebraska Law Review. Ms. Foster is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at
  the University of Washington School of Law and former Trustee of the King
  County Bar Foundation. She is a member of the Taxation\, Real Property/Pr
 obate\, and International Sections of the Washington State Bar Association
 \; and the Taxation\, Real Property and Probate\, and International Sectio
 ns of the American Bar Association. She is a founder and former President 
 of the Seattle Branch of the international Society of Trust &amp\; Estate 
 Practitioners and is a certified mediator.
