Responding to loneliness and isolation

Kitsap Public Health District, Kitsap County, Kitsap Mental Health Servies, and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health recently convened a workshop among many area organizations and agencies focused on social isolation and loneliness.

Jessica Guidry with Kitsap Public Health will join us to talk about what came out of that workshop and why it’s important for organizations like the Senior/Community Center, Island Volunteer Caregivers, the county, medical providers, and others to work together to address challenges of building and fostering connections. One of the things we’ve found at the Center is that many people find it difficult to reach out to help.
