Chapters of life fit together like children’s building blocks.
Piece upon piece, castles in the sky,
forts and arches,
bridges to a fairy princess.
They stand in formation until the last block
has been placed.
the road reached its end. I peer into the purple mist, still searching for castles

This year Bainbridge Island Photo Club will again be participating in the Kitsap County Ars Poetica event to celebrate National Poetry Month. For Ars Poetica, local poets submit works for the event. Judges select which poems will be featured. Local artists can then choose from the selected poems to interpret via visual arts, including paintings or photographs. Attend the imperson event at the Bainbridge Island Senior Community Center on Wednesday April 9 at 7:00 pm and join us for a Zoom podcast on April 18 at 1:30 pm on Zoom.
