My photos are posted daily on Facebook and have appeared in three different books: Four Seasons on Bainbridge Island, Thirty Walks on Bainbridge, and Natural Bainbridge.

For most of the years I’ve been walking in the Grand Forest I’ve been documenting the various plants growing along the trails, but this year I decided to concentrate on artistic structures created by leaves and blossoms, even when the combinations of growing forms were the result  of chance rather than creating the sort of typical forms one would find in a botanical handbook—even the occasional invasive species (which I’m happy to have weeded out after it’s been admired). For this show the common names seem suitable.
