Save the Trailer Park

The Islander Mobile Home Park is a resident-owned cooperative of 50 mobile homes. It’s tucked behind City Hall and Bainbridge Performing Arts. The “Trailer Park” is a group of longtime locals, fixed-income seniors, and working families.

This community needs to make extensive repairs to its water, sewage, and stormwater infrastructure… and they are asking for the community to help. The community has put forward $1 million of the $2 million cost — and is seeking tax-deductible donations and grants to bridge the gap so they can do the work this summer.
