This month’s BI Photo Club exhibition displays prints and digital images that were entered into this year’s regional competition. Overall, the club placed fourth. More important than the awards, was the strong club participation in these competitions this year. Over twenty photographers participated in NWCCC competition this year. Both the images receiving awards and selected images from participating photographers are being shown .BIPC dominated the conference with Print Salon entries. There were 157 prints entered for the conference open print salon and 18 awards. BIPC entered 37 prints from eleven photographers and received 14 awards for 8 photographers.BIPC also dominated the Digital Slideshow Competition. There were 10 entries from various clubs and 7 awards. BIPC took 1st and 2nd in the Photo Essay. These can be viewed from the link at the bottom of the page.
In the Open Digital Salon there were 238 entries from 12 clubs with 12 awards. Competition was stiff and the winners’ photos are amazing. BIPC entered 33 images from 9 photographers. Hoping for better luck next year and increased participation.
The Traveling Image Salon had 219 entries from 9 clubs. 86 high vote getting entries were juried by a panel of judges. BIPC entered 25 images by 18 photographers. Nine images were juried and we received two honorable mentions.
