BI Photo Club, July 2023 - Chizuko Farley

This is a collection of landscape photography with people. Often, there are no people in landscape photography. Photographers prefer more pristine conditions of nature when presenting. And they often take all sorts of effort not to include people or eliminate them later during post-processing. However, additional elements such as people or small objects may be in the photo on purpose. In this collection, a person or people in the scene provides a sense of scale to the surroundings and gives balance to the composition. It may help to show what it is and create mood. It also helps viewers understand the story better.

Most of the photos were taken during my trips, day hikes, and local walks. The collection is related to personal memories and activities I enjoy.
