Long Exposure Photography – Bob Rosenbladt – October 2021
I have had an interest in photography since my childhood – inspired by the other members of my family. I mostly did travel and adventure photography until I retired from my career as a geophysicist. After retirement I returned to my roots in Washington and moved to Poulsbo. My wife, Dorothy, and I joined the Bainbridge Island Photo Club in 2015 and have found it to be filled with friendly people who enjoy a common interest in photography and are very eager to share their knowledge. Since joining the club, I have broadened my interests to other branches of photography. In particular, one aspect that I really enjoy is taking Long Exposures. This is a broad topic and allows me to try many different types of photos. I like experimenting with photos and often ask myself “What if ….” To me, a key component to photography is to be having fun. Long Exposures give me tons of opportunity to do just that.
