Pilgrimage to Northern Spain and Portugal

By Tom Hansen

Inspired by the movie, The Way, I have always wanted to travel to Northern Spain and Portugal and walk the Camino de Santiago. This trip involved doing the “part way”, not enough hiking to qualify as a Pilgrim, lots of bus travel, and tramping around the cities on the way. I did get my Pilgrim’s ticket punched in the bars, restaurants, and hotel but no mass at Santiago de Compostela . This was a photographer’s dream trip focusing on the people, culture, history, and sights of this part of the world.
