NetBridge is an intergenerational program aimed at educating populations like youth and elderly about internet safety and media literacy, where we address topics like learning how to recognize AI, phone and email scams, and how to verify sources in the media. It was first created as an idea because of my grandmother, who frequently fell for such scams. Topics may include:

  1. Internet Safety – We cover how to recognize phone and email scams, as well as how to identify AI-generated content, which we’ve recently added to keep the material timely.
  2. Media Literacy – This section focuses on how to evaluate sources, understand bias in articles, and become a more informed consumer of media.
  3. Interactive Workshop – we’ll host a Q&A session to encourage discussion and engagement.

The call will be Wednesday, June 11, at 1:30 pm
