Bainbridge Community Read: ‘Stamped’

The City of Bainbridge Island is launching BI Reads for Justice, a six-month, all-community reads program running until March 2023. The community is invited to read the first book in the program, “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You: A Remix of the National Book Award-winning Stamped from the Beginning” by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi.

Throughout the six-month reading program, there will be speaker events, film screenings and structured community discussions about the book and its themes.

We’ll hear from coordinators, members of the Race Equity Advisory Council, and others about the program.
