Authentication Apps

John Chen will give an overview of new ways to have two-factor authentication beyond text messaging.

Everyone deserves to understand the high-tech world that we live in, and one thing we all have to live with is online account IDs and Passwords.  Many of us are frustrated or can’t keep track of all those critical pieces of information, and on top of that, we may be required to change them periodically.  We may also forget the password and have to get it reset, then have to think up a new complex password.

Now there is a new way to get online.  Passkeys are replacing passwords, slowly, and they are safer and so much more convenient; and best of all, you don’t have to remember them.

This session will provide you with an overview of Passkeys and how to start using them.
