Compassionate Listening

Compassionate Listening is the subject of the Bainbridge Island Senior/Community Center’s Zoom call on Monday 10/24 at 11:30 am. Please join Debby Haase and Akuyea Karen Vargas to hear them share thoughts and experiences of their work in Israel, Palestine, and Alabama. Debby, a trainer for the Compassionate Listening Project, and Akuyea, a veteran of decades of social justice actions, will offer effective ways to de-escalate difficult confrontations into fruitful conversations.
