Human Composting 101
We’ll meet Laura Cassidy, the outreach manager for Recompose, a Seattle-based human composting funeral home. Washington state became the first place in the world to legalize this environmental end of life care in 2019. We’ll learn how the highly natural soil transformation process, how it supports conservation and reforestation across our region, and what the human experience is like for friends and family.
