Jen Simonic talks about the nationwide effort she and Macey Kaplan cofounded to match volunteer handiwork finishers with projects left undone due to death or disability.

Jennifer and Masey, both avid knitters, realized that they had a shared experience: Friends would often ask them to finish blankets, sweaters, or other projects left undone by deceased loved ones. They were happy to do so, and invited others to participate.
