Seniors and climate chaos

We hear from local climate activist John Kydd about climate activism – he’s been involved in the global climate conference COP27, in ThirdAct.org (founded by Bill McKibbon), our City CCAC (Climate Change Advisory Committee) and local faith communities.   John will address the increasing importance of Seniors and upcoming National Day of Action on Tue., March 21 (https://www.mobilize.us/thirdact/event/549456/)  to call out banks that use our deposits to fund new fossil fuel drilling funds that makes climate change worse.  He says that as we work hard to cut down our carbon expression, our banks are using our money to make it worse.  John will talk about Chase Bank, which he says is the “dirtiest bank” regarding fossil fuels, and the action planned for Bainbridge Island at noon on Winslow Green.
