Stamped – Book Discussion

Open to all, whether you’ve read the book or not, this program offers a chance to explore the ideas that inform STAMPED, the BI READS For Social Justice for 2023. Participants can ask or answer questions, make observations, or simply listen and learn.

Our hybrid book group conversations to discuss the themes and ideas in “STAMPED: Racism, Antiracism, and You” by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi continues. This week, we’ll look at Section 2, including the contradictions of slaveholder and U.S. founder Thomas Jefferson and how those contradictions live on today. Bring your questions and thoughts and jump right in!
