Stamped Book Discussion

Join our continuing discussion on the book “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You.” We focus on the last section of the book—which takes us from the Civil Rights Act o 1964 through Black Lives Matter and gives a great deal of focus to Angela Davis. We continue to explore the difference between “assimilation” and “anti-racism” as described by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi.

Open to all, whether you’ve read the book or not, this program offers a chance to explore the ideas that inform STAMPED, the BI READS For Social Justice for 2023. Participants can ask or answer questions, make observations, or simply listen and learn.
