What is A.I.?

In-person and on Zoom, Bill Sams will speak on A.I. (Artificial Intelligence—What is it, where is it today, what is its future? There has been a huge amount of hype around AI, with many questioning whether it is an existential threat or a savior of humanity. Bill will provide an overview of how AI works, its strengths and limitations, developing applications, and the future of software, hardware, and wetware (the human mind). Bill is well known for his ability to take complex subjects and communicate them at a level that a normal person can understand.
