The Life in Your Years
THE LIFE IN YOUR YEARS
An Exploration of the Joys and Challenges of Growing Older
February 6-March 20
Mondays 12:30 – 2:00 PM
Bainbridge Island Senior Community Center
In this free six-week workshop, participants will delve into the deeper dimensions of aging beyond the physical, including what it means to be an elder and what is involved in a well-lived life. Through weekly short readings and discussions, we will examine the personal, social, and cultural aspects of getting older and our evolving notions of success and failure; love and fear; strength and weakness; and life and death. Together, we will help each other redefine our conceptions of age and elderhood.
