Accessibility Improvements on Bainbridge

The City of Bainbridge Island (COBI) and the Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District (BIMPRD) are each in the process of developing their organizations’ Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plans.  The organizations are identifying barriers to both accessibility and participation in our services and public facilities across the Island.  We will meet with Anshu Wahi, Equity and Inclusion Manager of COBI, and Matt Keough, Senior Planner with BI Parks, about how they working together to jointly gather public feedback as part of their separate programs, facilities, and public engagement.
